When the snows come the Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski areas are just five minutes away and in summer three notable golf courses including the renowned Robert Trent Jones golf course at Sugarbush challenge many to an enjoyable round. Local artisan galleries country stores and covered bridges are around every corner and many walking and cycling trails run through the area given its close proximity to the Appalachian Gap.
